Nita is a former partner at a nationwide law firm where she handled a significant caseload with extensive law and motion practice including dispositive motions and pre-trial hearings. Nita has participated in all stages of litigation including taking and defending depositions including expert witnesses, handling two non-jury trials and two jury trials. In 2024-25 alone, she settled 31 general liability cases and yielded five voluntary dismissals with no payments by her clients. She is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts (2005), the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Nita is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator (2015).
Doug focuses 100% of his legal practice in litigation and mediation. Spanning over 26 years, Doug has a broad legal experience in administrative litigation, real property litigation, land use litigation, complex commercial litigation, bid protests, commercial foreclosures, construction lien disputes, and construction defect litigation. Doug is licensed by the Florida Bar and California Bar Association. Doug's prior experience includes attorney at Miller, Starr & Regalia (California) and associate and partner at Hopping, Green & Sams. Since 2021, Doug has been of counsel to one Tallahassee firm, one Tampa firm, and one California firm. Doug is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator (2025).
